Mental Health First Aid

The Township’s Mental Health Committee is hosting a free Mental Health First Aid Course. This blended learning event will have 2 hours of online self-paced coursework followed by in-person instruction from 9-3:30pm on December 8 at the Township (One Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates IL 60169).

Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
