Septemberfest Free Rides for Persons With Disabilities

Join the Township of Schaumburg Disability & Senior Services Department for the annual Septemberfest Free Rides Program for persons with disabilities and their immediate families and caregivers on Saturday, September 2 from 9-11am on the Septemberfest Carnival Grounds.

Registration will be open July 17 – August 31 or until filled and is required by calling 847-285-4541 or emailing disabilityservices@schaumburgtownship.org. Registration is required for patrons and must include the disabled person’s name and address along with how many persons will be attending. This event is limited to the first 500 guests and will fill quickly, so please register early.

Please note:

• The person with the disability must reside in the Village of Schaumburg or the Township of Schaumburg.
• All persons with disabilities must have an able-bodied adult to accompany them on the rides. No exceptions.
• NOT ALL RIDES WILL BE OPEN! The carnival operator is a separate entity and has sole discretion on which rides will be open.

The event is dependent on weather and may be cancelled or delayed. The event will not be rescheduled if cancelled. This program is not open to the public. Free Rides is hosted by the Village of Schaumburg, sponsored by Fantasy Amusement Company, Inc. and coordinated by the Township of Schaumburg Disability & Senior Services Department.
