The Township of Schaumburg proudly partners with a wide range of community organizations that expand and enhance the services available to our residents. Funding for these agencies is awarded through two primary sources: the Town Fund (which includes Disability, Senior and Welfare Services) and the Mental Health Board Fund (mental health, substance use, and intellectual/developmental disability services).
While each funding source has its own process, all supported agencies share a common goal – providing vital services that either supplement or extend beyond the programs directly offered by the Township. These agencies address a variety of community needs, including support for older adults, individuals with disabilities, mental health and substance use services, and assistance for low-income households and individuals experiencing homelessness through programs focused on housing, childcare, legal aid, medical care, domestic violence services, advocacy and more.
Through these partnerships, the Township helps ensure residents have access to comprehensive resources that promote well-being, stability and inclusion.
