Looking to move your body, find your calm or build strength? Schaumburg Township offers 10 different fitness and wellness classes – from relaxing meditation to heart-pumping Fit for Life – so there’s truly something for every comfort level.

The weekly schedule for exercise and wellness classes

The weekly schedule for exercise and wellness classes is as follows:

Monday: Fit for Life at 9:30am, Stretch & Tone at 10:45am, Chair Yoga at 1pm
Tuesday: Zumba Gold at 9:30am, Sit & Sweat at 10:45am, Core Fusion at 12pm, Tai Chi at 1pm
Wednesday: Fit for Life at 9:30am, Stretch & Tone at 10:45am, Chairobics at 1pm
Thursday: No Exercise & Wellness Classes
Friday: Fit for Life at 9am, Gentle Yoga at 9:30am, Stretch & Tone at 10:15am, Meditation** at 10:30am, Chair Yoga at 1pm

In addition to these classes, Nurse Janet also leads our Walking Group three times per week – every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 8:45am. Walking Group is free and does not count toward the Class Pass.

Classes are categorized from least strenuous to most, in this order: Meditation, Chair Yoga, Chairobics, Tai Chi, Stretch and Tone, Gentle Yoga, Zumba Gold, Sit and Sweat, Core Fusion, Fit for Life.

** Meditation Class only meets on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month.

Classes are $5 cash at the door or class pass. All fitness levels are welcome! Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes. Make sure to bring a bottle of water. For more information, please call 847-285-4541.
