The Township will host a free Rabies Vaccine and Microchip Clinic on September 9 from 10am-1pm (or until vaccines run out) at the Schaumburg Township Road District Garage (One Illinois Blvd, Hoffman Estates). Available to the first 100 pets. Pet owners must keep dogs leashed and cats must be in carriers. Owners must be Cook County residents and present a valid driver’s license or state ID. Services offered: 1-year rabies vaccines, distemper vaccines and microchips. Pets must be at least three months old and will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Owners will be given a vaccine certificate and can order a rabies tag post-event here: cookcountyil.gov/service/rabies-vaccination-tags.

This event is co-hosted by Heartland Animal Shelter and presented in partnership with the Cook County Department of Animal and Rabies Control and Cook County Commissioner Kevin B. Morrison, 15th District.
