Veteran Resource Fair

Veterans and their families are encouraged to attend the Township’s first Veteran Resource Fair! Donuts, coffee and local vendors sharing veteran resources will be available. The event will be on Saturday, October 3, from 9am-1pm at the Township of Schaumburg (1 Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates).

The following vendors/organizations will be in attendance:

• Illinois State Treasurer
• Navy Federal Credit Union
• Northwest Suburban Woman’s Club
• Northwestern Medicine Living

• Veterans Legal Aide

No registration is needed for this free event.

Cleaning Basics Supply Drive

From October 1-30, the Township will collect new cleaning supplies to be donated to newly housed veterans in our area.

Suggested supplies to donate:

• Vacuum
• Broom & Dustpan
• Toilet Brush
• Toilet Plunger
• Sponges
• Mop
• Bucket
• Duster
• Multi-purpose Cleaner
• Toilet Bowl Cleaner
• Glass Cleaner
• Dish Towels

Monetary donations help us purchase supplies in bulk. Donate online by visiting our Donation Page and choosing “Veteran Cleaning Basics Supply Drive” in the drop down menu.
